A hot air balloon ride?
I live in IN in Fort Wayne areal.. I would like to take my husband and my 5 yr and I on the hot air balloon. Where would I go that have the hot air balloon ride in my area. And, would you think its safe for my 5 yr old to go on. And, how much money is it and how long is the ride. Advice please. Thanks
Answer:
I live in Houston and I looked into going for a ride about a year ago. An hour ride cost about $400 (including a bottle of champagne). You can look it up in either the yellow pages or online to see what's in your area. Shouldn't be a safety issue for your 5-year old either since the balloon operators are FAA certified pilots.
my brother in law gives rides here in Ohio. I believe his rate is around $400.00 an hour for two people,if you take off from his place. If he has to travel then he charges mileage.
Honestly, I don't think a ballooning company will let a 5 year old on or in a hot air balloon for insurance reasons. The minimum flying age is 6.
But you and your husband should go and experience it or wait for her birthday ))
yes.
i had a hot balloon ride a month ago!!

i guess a three person ticket will be for around $ 100 to a $ 200.
and your 5 year child can surely ride that because it is safe for all ages!!
go ahead and have a lot of fun!
